Frequently Asked Questions

1. Delivery

We handle every order with care, from packaging to the moment your matcha arrives at your doorstep. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number to follow your delivery.

Delivery times:

  • Within the Netherlands, orders are typically delivered within 2–4 business days.

  • At this time, we ship exclusively within the Netherlands.

All orders are shipped from the Netherlands.

2. Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.
You may return an order within 14 days of receipt, provided the product is unopened and in its original condition.

To request a return, please email hello@nauchaliving.com with your order number and reason for return. After approval, you will receive further instructions. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Once the returned product has been received and inspected, the purchase amount will be refunded within 5 business days.

3. Storage guidelines

Matcha is sensitive to light, air and moisture.
To preserve its vibrant color, soft taste and nutritional value:

  • Reseal the foil pouch after each use and place it back into the tin.

  • Store in a cool, dry and dark place, away from direct sunlight.

  • For best taste, consume within 1–2 months after opening.

  • For longer storage, matcha may be kept in the refrigerator, tightly sealed to prevent moisture absorption.

4. How do I prepare matcha?

Preparing matcha is a small ritual of calm.

  • Use approximately 2 g of matcha (two scoops with a bamboo chashaku) and sift it into a bowl.

  • Add a small amount of hot water (around 80°C) and whisk into a smooth, creamy paste.

  • Add the remaining water (approximately 70 ml) and whisk in a gentle “M” or “W” motion until a fine layer of foam forms.

Enjoy your matcha pure, or use it as a base for a creamy matcha latte.

5. Origin

Our matcha is carefully cultivated in Shizuoka, Japan, a region renowned for its centuries-old tea culture and fertile soil.
The tea plants grow in harmony with the seasons and are hand-harvested. The leaves are then traditionally stone-milled into a silky-smooth powder of exceptional quality.

Each batch is produced with care in small quantities to ensure freshness and refined taste.

6. Use and safety

Our matcha is intended for consumption.
A daily serving of 2–3 grams is sufficient to enjoy the benefits of matcha.

Not recommended for children under 12 years of age or for individuals sensitive to caffeine. If in doubt, please consult a physician or dietitian.
