Naucha Living is the data controller responsible for the processing of your personal data.

2. Personal data we process

We process personal data that you actively provide to us or that is automatically collected through our website, including:

  • Order information: name, address, email address, phone number, and payment information (required to process and fulfill orders).

  • Account and communication data: information you share with us when contacting us or subscribing to our newsletter.

  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, time zone, and pages visited (collected via cookies and analytics tools).

  • Cookies: used for the functional operation of the webshop, analytics, and marketing. Non-essential cookies are placed only after your consent. More information can be found in our Cookie Policy.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data solely for lawful purposes and on the basis of the legal grounds set out in Article 6 of the GDPR:

  • Performance of a contract: to process, ship, and deliver orders, including communication regarding your purchase.

  • Consent: for sending newsletters, marketing communications, and the use of non-essential cookies. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

  • Legal obligation: to comply with tax regulations and statutory retention obligations.

  • Legitimate interest: to improve our website, prevent fraud, provide customer service, and analyze anonymized visitor statistics.

4. Sharing data with third parties

We share personal data only with parties that are necessary for the provision of our services and who process data on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions. Data may be shared with:

  • Payment providers: Mollie, PayPal (secure payments).

  • Logistics partners: PostNL, DHL, Sendcloud (order delivery).

  • E-commerce platform: Shopify (data may be processed outside the EU with appropriate safeguards).

  • Analytics and marketing partners: Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Ads.
    We never sell personal data to third parties.

5. International data transfers

Some service providers (including Shopify, Google, and Meta) are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Data transfers occur only where an adequacy decision applies or where appropriate safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) are in place.

6. Data retention periods

Personal data is not retained longer than necessary:

  • Order and invoice data: 7 years (statutory tax retention requirement).

  • Newsletter and marketing data: until consent is withdrawn.

  • Cookies: according to the duration specified in the Cookie Policy.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure (“right to be forgotten”), restriction of processing, data portability, objection (including to direct marketing), and withdrawal of consent at any time. Requests can be submitted via hello@nauchaliving.com .  We respond within 30 days and may request identity verification to prevent misuse.

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, and disclosure. Our website uses SSL encryption, and we work only with trusted partners who comply with GDPR requirements. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel.

9. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated if practices change or legal requirements apply. The most current version is always available on our website and includes the date of the latest update.
